He will listen...

So I've been reading more about missionaries and martyrs and such... This has changed my way of thinking and my prayer life, too. Last night just before I read my Bible before going to bed, I was praying for persecuted Christians around the world and asking the Lord to keep them safe, give them hope, keep them warm, encourage them... and then kinda ended up asking Him... Why? How Long? What about the ones who are hurting them? So I prayed that their captors would have soft hearts and mercy and that they'd know Jesus, too. And that there would be justice. In the end, I was a little discouraged that things like that go on in the world...

Then I opened my Bible. These were two of the last verses I read (in my organized Two Year Bible...)

Psalm 102:17
"He will listen to the prayers of the destitute.
He will not reject their pleas."

and

Proverbs 22:8
"Those who plant seeds of injustice will harvest disaster,
and their reign of terror will end."

The "reign of terror" will end... and God hears their prayers.

Apparently, He hears mine, too... God's Word is alive and active!

Please continue to pray with me for Believers who are persecuted for their faith! He is with them... He will listen.
