balloon animals

The kids learned to make balloon animals this summer at our retreat in Turkey.  Hannie especially loved this.  She is brave to bend and twist.  She's brave to let balloons pop in her hands!  And she's good at creating the animals.  She's really good at making things like dogs, giraffes, bunnies...  And she's a good teacher, too!  So after Grandma sent us some of those special long balloons along with a balloon pump, we had the great idea to take the balloons and Hannie's talent up to the orphanage!  The kids loved it.  And so did we.  And Hannie was awesome!  Take a peek:

Sister Josanne told us she worked on the streets with Mother Teresa!  I said to Kevin...  Think, our nine year old taught Mother Teresa's friend how to make balloon animals!  :)  We're going to bring her our extra balloon pump this month!
